About Our Menu's
Here at the Greenman we are very passionate about using fresh food and commodities where possible, that are local and at their best when in season. Buying direct from the best local producers and suppliers helps keep handling to a minimum and enable us to highlight the local produce available on our door step. Quality and consistency is paramount to enabling us to produce dishes of good taste, texture and flavour for you to enjoy. Using the very best fresh ingredients available including fresh meat and fresh fish of the day we provide a wide range of menu options to suit all.
We have spent many years building up a network of local producers and suppliers who share the same passion and consistency helping to put this part of West Sussex on the map with our very own 'Food Hero's'
One of our specialities is fresh fish from the local South coast. A fab feature of our pub is our seawater tank in which we keep live Lobsters. You can choose any lobster and have it cooked to your order. During the winter, we focus on game produced around the region, such as pheasant, wild mallard and venison. All of this is prepared by chef proprietor Nick Illes and head chef, David Braddock, both of whom have the local knowledge and a passion for creating great dishes from seasonal food.
